bottling in the mid-1980s, when Alessio Federico took over from his
father Silvio. He now farms 27 acres, 5 estate-owned and 6 leased, with
his wife Marilena, and
their sons Paolo and Silvio.
Plum, prune and bark aromas turn to
raisin. Full-bodied, chewy and powerful, with big tannins and lots of
