Intense and bright cherry color. Ripe fruit nose, with hints of ripe red fruit. Mineral notes. Complex and very powerful.

Wine Spectator 91 points: A hard shell of tannins cracks to offer sweet dried cherry and dark chocolate flavors, intense and vibrant, with accents of cranberry, rhubarb and mineral. It's powerful, yet remains light on its feet. Drink now through 2015. 3,000 cases made. -TM

Technical notes

Grape varieties: 85% Tempranillo,10% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano selection from 35 years old vines coming from "Pago El Rincon", located at own vineyard "Viña Lanciano". Malolactic fermentation in new French Allier oak.

Aging: During 5 months in new French oak and 4 months in new Russian oak casks.
