Massimo is a lovely pale straw color with delicate aromas and flavors of guava, lemon grass and grapefruit. Light bodied with a zesty acidity, the finish is pleastantly long and refreshing.
To preserve the delicate nature of Sauvignon Blanc, grapes were picked during the cool of the night, whole berry pressed and cold settled. Next the clear juice was racked into temperature controlled stainless steel where several yeast strains were added, each lending an extra aromatic layer. Throughout the production process, from pressing to aging to bottling the wine was gently handled to protect the unique characters found in Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
|Massimo's crisp citrus flavors are the ideal match with salads, seafood, light pasta, pork, fresh crab, oysters and soft goat cheese. The wine is wonderful by itself and perfect to share with friends.
