Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Alicante-Bouschet. It matures in French oak barriques or steel for 12 months, followed by 12 months’ bottle ageing. It is a complex but fresh and very drinkable wine. The use of new barriques is limited to 25-30%.

Wine maker notes

An initially dry summer ending with an average August enabled us to dedicate grapes with a good balance of sugar, freshness and aromatic intensity to Caburnio. The final blend has bite and smoothness that are well supported by good acidic substance and fine tannins, conveying an excellent balance.
