Intense, concentrated and powerful aromas of black fruit, red berries, spice and hints of wild flowers complement an intense and very powerful, fruit driven palate with layers of flavour and exotic spice.
Wine Spectator: Powerful yet harmonious, this rich red delivers black cherry, licorice, fresh herb, smoke and mineral flavors that mingle seamlessly over firm, well-integrated tannins, while balsamic-tinged acidity drives the flavors through the long, spicy finish. Drink now through 2025. 900 cases made.
To the eye the wine is bright and luminous. It displays an intense cherry red colour with deep and attractive scarlet shades on the rim of the glass.
On the nose there is an aromatic depth of fine and mature fruity notes which intermingle with those that come from the noble oak barrels. You can sense the subtle vanilla and lightly spicy aromas that will open and develop into more complex notes for years to come.
