The palate, though big and opulent, has an elegant,smooth texture, some mocha and cedar oak character combined with ripe, dark berry fruit and fine tannins.
Most of the grapes were harvested from the premium vineyards of the Limestone Coast’s Coonawarra and Padthaway regions.

| The wine was fermented in both small vats and roto fermenters. Select batches received extended maceration. The wine aged in new and seasoned French oak barrels.
