Medium to deep brick red with purple hues, the Nottage Hill Merlot’s bouquet is complex yet soft. Aromas of ripe blueberry, blackberry and cherry fruit aromas with hints of violets, nuts, spice and vanillin oak characters are evident. The palate is rich with full fruit flavours, and is supported by the soft mouth filling tannins. This ripe and generous palate also shows a good persistence of flavour.
