Wine maker notes
In Southern France, bordering the Mediterranean Sea, extends the most ancient and the largest vineyard of our country: the Languedoc Roussillon. Whilst our vine-growers take benefit from favorably climatic conditions and remarkable sunshine weather, they have been following for quite a long time the principle of an environmental friendly viticulture. This is how our region has become a pioneer in developing cautious agriculture and organic viticulture. It offers a vast variety of terroirs that we suggest you discover in this fruit driven wine, matured exclusively in concrete tank, without any use of barrels. As a result of one year’s winetastings and selection, our Languedoc is blended by the most brilliant fruits of Syrah, from the area of Saint Chinian and the Terraces du Larzac with the tasty Grenache from Roussillon. Its a fruity wine, a Mediterranean wine but stays fresh and thirst-quenching.

Producer
The Negociant Eleveur Maison Hecht & Bannier, specializing in red wines from the South of France, came to light in 2002. Our goal is to have our wines become the reference for quality in the region with a unique range of appellation wines. We are convinced that from Roussillon to Provence, the most talented vineyard in France, has not yet received the international recognition that it deserves: our wines allow wine-lovers to discover the extraordinary quality and wealth of our region. To conserve the typical Mediterranean strength in our wines while preserving balance and crispness, is our mantra for all the appellations we produce. The cornerstone of our profession is our extensive knowledge of vineyards and cellars. Every year we visit hundreds of producers to select only the best wines. Often, our wines come from vineyards in the cooler foothills where it isn’t rare to see hundred-year-old vines. Once the long selection process has come to an end, we organize tastings to create the blends and decide on our elevage options.
