Colour: Light-gold, very beautiful
Sparkle: Fine, extremely long-lasting mousse
Bouquet: Citrus fruits, mangos, peaches and apricots
Palate: A wonderful balance of aromatic strength and the freshness of exotic fruits
Overall impression: A refined blend in which the elegance of the Chardonnay melds with the fruitiness of the Pinot Meunier and the enduring flavour of the Pinot Noir. That is the art of champagne production
Vinous 90 points - The NV Brut Cuvee Classique offers up warm, resonant notes of dried pears, hazelnuts and spices. This is a lovely entry-level Champagne with plenty of breadth and volume, much it from the vinification in oak. Sweet spices notes wrap around the textured finish. The blend is 46% Chardonnay, 29% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier, Disgorgement date: February 20, 2012. -- Antonio Galloni (Oct 2012)
Wine Spectator 90 points - Plenty of graphite and mineral aromas. Shifts gears to peach, lemon and vanilla notes. Rich and mouthfilling, with a firm structure and power. Good, lingering finish. Drink now. 12,500 cases made. Score: 90. óBruce Sanderson, 2005.
