Grapes are sourced from a tiny cluster of vineyards located 400-550 meters above sea level in the Dolomite Alps north of Lake Garda. These vineyards share a microclimate and soil conditions singularly well suited to production of high quality Pinot Grigio and have been farmed by the same two families for over 100 years. In daylight hours this area enjoys the warming effects of nearby Lake Garda, helping to keep the fruit moisture-free and resistant to disease. Cool nights promote fragrant, intense aromas uncommon in Pinot Grigio.
| Wine maker notes |
| Grapes are handpicked and vinified on site. Musts are obtained from a gentle pressing, and fermentation conducted using selected yeasts at controlled temperatures of 68° to 72° F. Fining and clarification occur in stainless steel tanks, followed by stabilization and bottling in cold, sterile conditions. |
