Ruby red color. There are evident notes of freshly picked red fruit in the nose. In the mouth, one experiences freshness and softness with the pleasure of fresh fruits of the forest and sweet tannin.
Wine Advocate 91 points - There is a lot to like in the 2010 Lacryma Christi Rosso. Tar, smoke, licorice, mint, game and cured meats are some of the many notes that emerge from this powerful, virile red. There is no shortage of brute intensity in this extroverted Campanian red. Readers will have a very hard time finding a better wine for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2016.”,,, (Feb 2013)

Producer
Feudi di San Gregorio, a modern expression of a centuries-old tradition of passion and dedication to the land, is Campania’s premier winemaking estate. Situated in the tiny village of Sorbo Serpico in Campania's Irpinia region, this highly-acclaimed winery was established in 1986. Since then, it has aggressively tapped into the enormous potential of Campania's unique terroir and ancient varieties by placing a contemporary spin on indigenous grapes such as Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo and Aglianico.
