Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium estate was founded in 1561. The estate’s Graach and Trittenheim vineyards are located in the three-river Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region renowned for delicate prize white wines made from the Riesling grape. Trittenheim occupies the center of a splendid oxbow bend and embraces some of the steepest slopes in the Mosel.
