Vinous 89 points - (15.8% alcohol; 67% malbec, 26% cabernet franc and 7% syrah): Good full medium red. Deep nose offers scents of blackberry, blueberry, mint, graphite minerality, dark chocolate and mocha. Suave, sweet and concentrated, with black raspberry and mocha flavors complemented by spicy oak. Large-scaled, lush and satisfying, with obviously elevated alcohol, but has just enough acidity to maintain its shape. Finishes with substantial fine-grained tannins and a lingering note of redcurrant.
